China before the Big Recession

The Government of China had plans to promote an improvement of the welfare, mostly in the countryside with politics in subjects such as education, public health and infraestructures. 

This politics was focused to reduce the differences between the urban area and the rural area. All this by incorporating a technological, enviromental and social development. 

But all this plans was modified due to the crash of the international financial crisis (in 2008). 

Until then, the macroeconomic politics were pointed to prevent the overheating of the economy and to reduce the inflaction.

But with the crash, the politics turned to be focused on two main objectives; to keep the growth and to control the inflaction. 

A globally integrated China could not scape global economic and financial market movements. This was the first time in the modern era in which China´s economy has become sufficiently involved with other economies.
